True to Taste
Committed to the Craft.

In a world of noise and haste, Chef Zeng Jinbiao returns to the essence of taste.

With decades of experience helming the kitchens of top-tier establishments like The Ritz-Carlton Beijing Financial Street, Chef Zeng has remained steadfast in one belief — to never alter the true character of ingredients. In his culinary philosophy, every dish is a quiet conversation with nature, a tribute to the rhythm of the seasons and the origins of the land.

True to Taste, Committed to the Craft.

This is not only Tang Town’s guiding philosophy but also Chef Zeng’s lifelong commitment. Drawing inspiration from both time-honored Chinese techniques and contemporary methods, he transcends traditional boundaries to create dishes that are at once familiar and unexpected. Whether it’s a spring sea urchin or a deep-sea fish from winter waters, he lets the season speak first.

He says, I hope to bring fresh, wholesome cuisine to every guestnot only to please the palate but to nourish the soul.

A recipient of numerous prestigious honors—including “Best Restaurants” in Beijing and Shanghai, the Michelin Plate, multiple inclusions in the Michelin Guide, the Asia Pacific Top 100 Restaurants & Bars, and the CHA Chef of the Year—Chef Zeng now brings this refined craftsmanship to Dubai.

Leading a team of core chefs from acclaimed Michelin-starred institutions such as JW Marriott, Chao Shang Chao, and the legendary Cantonese restaurant Lei Garden, Chef Zeng has assembled a brigade that spans continents, united by a devotion to flavor and finesse.

This is not just a meal. It is a culinary journey through culture, rooted in calm and lifted by surprise. Welcome to Tang Town—where the chef and his ingredients speak in quiet harmony, and a single flavor tells an enduring story.

Inspired by the Tang Dynasty

The name Tang Town is rooted in the golden era of the Tang Dynasty (7th to 9th century), a time when China flourished as a cultural crossroads. Through the Silk Road, Chinese civilization engaged in vibrant exchanges with the Arab world and European empires. Tea, music, and cuisine flowed freely across borders—marking a chapter in history defined not by division, but by harmony. It is this spirit of connection that we honor today.

Tang Town is more than a restaurant.

It is a living expression of modern Chinese aesthetics. A place where pristine ingredients, Eastern rhythm, refined craftsmanship, and thoughtful lifestyle converge into a dining experience worth remembering.

A dialogue between seasonality, provenance, and heat

We follow the belief of True to Taste, Committed to the Craft. Only seasonal, origin-certified ingredients are selected—flown in fresh, prepared with restraint. From Alaskan king crab to New Zealand abalone, from a single tomato to a stalk of spring bamboo shoot—freshness is not a flourish, but a quiet form of reverence.

A craft rooted in tradition, refined for the present

From tableside-carved Peking duck to Teochew-style marinades and handmade dim sum, our kitchen honors the techniques of classical Chinese cuisine. Precision in fire and clarity in flavor speak not of excess, but of elegance.

A lifestyle where East and West meet in quiet harmony

Champagne and baijiu. Cigars and Arabic shisha. Private stillness in our dining suites, open conversations on the terrace.
